Збудований у 1914 році з оригінальною назвою «Асторія», готель приймав гостей під час двох світових воєн, падінь імперій та інших, часом непередбачуваних поворотів історії. Протягом останніх 60 років його знали як готель «Київ». Та настав час «Асторії» повернути своє ім’я та минуле визнання.
The Astoria Hotel L’viv has always been a centre of hospitality. Originally constructed in 1914, it operated through both World Wars. Even though empires have vanished it continued to operate and was known as the ‘Hotel Kyiv’ for the past 60 years. After completion of a major renovation, the hotel will reopen in late Spring 2013, as THE ASTORIA HOTEL, restoring the original name and former elegance of L’viv’s most historic and legendary hotel.
