Засновниками Кластеру видавничої діяльності та поліграфії стали ТзОВ «Видавництво Старого Лева», ТзОВ «Видавництво «Свічадо», ТзОВ «Видавничий дім «Молода Галичина», ПП «Диз–Арт», ТзОВ «Кольоровий світ», ТзОВ «Лавіс», ТзОВ «МАТАІ-Україна» та ТзОВ «Рекламно-видавнича фірма «Поліграф-сервіс».

Метою діяльності Кластера є забезпечення розвитку поліграфічної та видавничої діяльності, а також суміжних із ними галузей у регіоні через інновації, промоцію, налагодження співпраці між компаніями з різною спеціалізацією в рамках галузі, підвищення кваліфікації працівників поліграфічних компаній.

A significant prerequisite for the Publishing and Printing Cluster establishment in Lviv was the fact that many enterprises are closely linked with the need of cooperation among companies with different specializations within the industry: joint execution of large orders, additional services from other enterprises due to the lack of necessary printing equipment, professional training of personnel, etc.
Among the Cluster's founders are companies specializing in periodicals production, packaging and label manufacturing, advertising and souvenir production, as well as publishing leaders of the region.

Mission/Objectives:
- promotion of Lviv as the European centre of publishing and printing through companies development;
- establishment of cooperation among printing companies for creating new, stable business opportunities and increasing competitiveness;
- improvement of specialized education quality through cooperation with educational institutions and other organizations;
- motivation of students for professional training, as a prerequisite for further career growth;
- development of innovation activities involving representatives of other branches for accomplishing research, scientific and business projects.
