SingularityU Kyiv, a Singularity University Chapter, is here to promote and inspire exponential thinking and knowledge. Our goal is to educate and empower Ukrainians by building a strong local community around the world’s most advanced technologies to help solve humanity’s global grand challenges.

A once-powerful economy, nowadays Ukraine is plagued by systemic corruption and political instability. Yet simultaneously and somewhat paradoxically, Ukraine is one of the global leaders in IT and exponential technologies: an untapped goldmine of ideas and human resources, driven by a young and highly-motivated civil society, hungry for change and reforms. Ukraine’s large, yet stigmatized economy possesses incredible potential for innovative disruption that may soon make our country one of the regional leaders. Despite vibrancy of demand, Ukraine’s post-industrial innovation scene lacks a gravitational center point, a role taken by Skolkovo in the case of Russian Federation. This situation is highly reminiscent of South Korea, shortly after the Korean War and prior to the economic boom. By building a successful Singularity University Chapter, we strive to provide a bridge between Ukraine’s will to be a part of an exponential world and the knowledge and direction of the West, facilitated by Singularity University’s global network; create a number of disruptive business opportunities and gain vital real-life case data for SU’s faculty and alumni.

We have recently opened an Alumni office and co-working space in Kyiv. This office is located in central Kyiv and is open to all SU alumni, faculty and staff, visiting Kyiv on a 24/7 free of charge basis. Here you can work (we have all your office equipment and secretarial needs covered), hold meetings (two meeting rooms and lots of coffee are at your disposal) or just relax in the company of your fellow SU community members.
